Maypearl will be represented by six students who were selected to play at this concert:
Mason Hicks on Tenor Trombone, Connor Harper on Trumpet, Joshua Pearson on Baritone Saxophone, Cara Haynes on Percussion, Macey Pieterse on Bass Trombone and Stetson Walker on Alto Saxophone.
Feb 6 NTCA Circuit contest at Bowie HS, Arlington, TX
We are kicking off our winter season with this NTCA sponsored contest at Bowie High School in Arlington. Our Varsity winterguard, Cadet winterguard and Indoor Drumline will be performing.

Maypearl will be represented by four outstanding musicians at the Region Jazz Clinic and Concert:
Mason Hicks on Bass Trombone, Connor Harper on Trumpet, Joshua Pearson on Baritone Saxophone and Bradley Curby on Bass. Performances will be on Saturday, January 16th at 5:00PM at the Tarleton State University Auditorium.

Feb 20 UIL HS Solo/Ensemble Contest @ Crowley HS
There are some very talented students who have been working hard on perfecting their solos and ensmbles so that they can perform them in front of UIL judges. Students who have memorized their Grade 1 music from the PML (prescribed music list) will be able to advance to the State Solo and Ensemble contest in May if they receive a First Division Rating at this contest.
March 2 UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest @ Hamilton High School
HS Varsity students have been working diligently in class to prepare their music from the Prescribed Music List and perferfect every detail for the judges. They have been working to repeat their first division success in previous years' UIL contests.
